Tim Crozier

Test Pilot - Sales/Production/Shaper/Surfer - Tim's introduction to the surfboard building industry in 1994 happened "by accident". While surfing near the pier in Ocean Beach another surfer collided with is board and offered to "fix" the ding. Turned out that the surfer was also a shaper. Having repaired the ding a friendship emerged between the two surfers that led to working together and a mentoring in the craft of building surfboards. Beginning with laying tar-paper on the floor in the glassing room and ending with rough shaping, Tim has learned everything in the process of building a craftsman surfboard. But his sole passion is shaping quality shapes that are artistic in expression and excellent in performance.

Shapers that [have] influenced him include; Chris Ruddy, Ruben Garcia, Rich Pavel, Dan VanZanten, Chris Christenson, Al Merrick and Dave Daum.

After several years in the surf industry Tim pulled the rip-cord and bailed out in order to go in to full-time ministry. He attended the School of Evangelism and became an associate pastor at a local North County church. In 2005, Tim began to pursue another direction of ministry, which resulted in a new ministry plant in January of 2006 in Encinitas. He and his family continue to minister within the community that they live and love.
